its stunning three-story indoor waterfall and sleek, subterranean wet lounge,
Great Jones Spa made a splash with the fashion crowd when it opened in fall
2004. Since then, the feng shui–designed spot has added an organic-juice bar
next door and augmented its already lengthy treatment menu with offerings like
purifying “skin food” facials using the cult organic product line, Alkaitis. In
the decadent, five-step Red Flower Hamam treatment—offered at only a handful of
city spas—clients are first cleansed with Moroccan mint tea, then scrubbed with
coffee, olive stones, and lemon, painted with clay, and finally massaged and
hydrated with tangerine-fig butter. The coed spa (a favorite of grooming icons
like Brooke Shields) features nearly a dozen massage and skin-care rooms, but
the real star here is the water cure on the lower level. Free for spa visitors
with tabs over $100 ($50 for those not purchasing other treatments), the luxe
setup boasts a plant-filled atrium adjacent to a hot tub, cold plunge,

In the VIP room, brides and grooms can enjoy dual massages and a private
Jacuzzi, as well as the Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Glow body scrub ($150).
